So I've been thinking about what to blog next and I had a few ideas. But I scrapped them and thought I would start with this: PRODUCTS I LOVE!
Now, I'm quite fussy when it comes men's skincare products. I have oily skin and some moisturisers don't help ... Well make my skin worse and bring my acne out. For about a year now I've been using Bull Dog's original moisturiser - it's thick and not oil based and works for my skin. So I was a bit hesitant to branch out on a new moisturiser. However, I was given a sample of the Bluebeards REVENGE post shave balm in my subscription box a few weeks back and, well, I love it! It's not as thick substance as Bull Dog but it's not liquid oil either. It's great on my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It smells good too. It's become one of my favourite things to do before I go to bed and have added it to my routine. You can get it here. It's only £9.99 or you can get a sample like mine for £2.99, Check it out!
The next thing I want to talk about is an absolute life saver! It's American Crew 3 in 1. That is Shampoo, conditioner and body wash all in one bottle! For that quick shower in the morning when you don't have time for lots of different bottles of smells that don't quite match up. It's quick and easy - no fuss! I even stick it in my gym bag, gets the chlorine out of my hair and leaves me smelling great.
I always find it's so much easier to style my hair once it has been condition, and this does the trick all in one go. The only downside is that it is quite expensive ranging around £9.99 for a 250ml bottle - but worth it in my opinion. You can get it on amazon here.
I went out on a whim for my next product and I am so glad that I did. I've been looking for a new aftershave for a while now, I tried various samples and only found one that I liked was Abercrombie Fierce, it had a mature woody smell that I really enjoyed (My current Hugo boss bottled night - started to smell a little too sweet for me!) And just having my birthday and being the old age of 26, I wanted to have something a little bit more mature.
The downside was that it was expensive, extremely expensive and I couldn't justify splashing out just yet. However, when on a work trip in Jersey, I discovered Abercrombie and Fitch: First Instinct. It was similar to Fierce and had the same woody smell but only a touch sweeter. At £30 for 50ml, it seemed worth the risk - and it smells amazing!
The only issue is that I cannot find it on their website at the moment, but is worth having a search for! Amazon sell it (here!) but it is a tad more expensive at £51.93 for a 50ml bottle.
Finally I have one more thing that I want to share with you. You have probably heard of it, it's Bootea. (I am currently doing their 2 week detox tea and will blog about my experience at a later date!) but today I wanted to talk about their little oats.
Now I have busy work schedule, some days I work 8am-11pm, which doesn't leave much of time for sleep or breakfast - and well we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It's such a shame I'm a bad breakfast eater!!
I am not a massive fan of porridge, but having a ready to go, great tasting, healthy breakfast in a mug has converted me! It's quick it's easy and doesn't leave you with loads of washing up you can get them here for only £9.99. If, like me, you're not great at breakfast (unless it is later in the day and you can call it brunch) it is worth a try. They're tasty and seem to keep me full - which is actually by itself quite an achievement!
So, that's it from me! These products have become essential in my life and I hope you check them out!
